Align your mind with ur Soul Shine
The Lord's Prayer, according to Robert Schuller, "is the most effective prayer ever prayed" because it deals with the six most destructive emotions.
It's also part of the Sermon on the Mount, which is said to be "The highest teaching ever given to humanity" by Metaphysician Corinne Heline.
Line 1> "Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name." He says this line addresses the inferiority complex because it links ALL of us to the One, the Creator as 'Our Father', thus, to use a Native American term, it relays that, "We are all related."
We each belong equally to the Most High - we are all part of the Holy Family. No one is more important than another.
Line 2> "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." This dispels discouragement as it indicates that there is a Divine Plan which we are all a part of. We have a purpose and ability to fulfill it through our connection to our divine source.
Line 3> "Give us this day our daily bread." Schuller says, "Why be anxious when God will supply your needs........the word bread deals with life's necessities."
Line 4> "Forgive us our debts," deals with guilt - the destroyer of peace of mind. It lays behind the scenes of your mind and emotions as you try to ignore it or justify it. Guilt won't go away until you address it, acknowledge it and rectify it - then you can forgive yourself and release it by knowing that as we forgive ourselves and others - we are forgiven.
Line 5> "As we forgive our debtors." This relieves us of resentment. We can't feel good about ourselves as long as we hold onto resentment. We can release others to their own path of evolution because there is a higher power that oversees every one of us and our individual development.
We all face the consequences of our actions, whether for good or ill, the fruit ends up in our own laps. Karma doesn't need our help to ensure that others have their sheets balanced. Let it go.
Line 6> "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." When we follow faith and make decisions in good conscience, we create an atmosphere that relieves fear.
Line 7> "For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever." This is the guarantee of everlasting life. A promise of our value and the knowledge that we will always and forever be in the bosom of our Maker.
We have "ultimate security" because of our Divine heritage. There is nothing too big for our Creator to handle. And this fleeting life is but one step in our spiritual evolution.
